Accounting

The purpose of our accounting program is to train students with the analytical skills and expertise needed to work in the accounting field. Students learn the theoretical concepts and practical applications of accounting, as well as the data and information processing skills necessary to succeed in this industry.

Business

The business program is designed to provide  students with the skills and education necessary to work in the business field. Students learn to apply classroom solutions to real-life business situations through case studies and a well-rounded curriculum.

The classes are designed for prospective students who are interested in working in sales, business administration, management, operations, marketing, human resources, or office administration. The business program provides hands-on computer training, accounting skills, and a solid background in business administration.

Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program is designed to prepare students for a career in corrections, probation, criminology, forensic sciences, law enforcement, immigration, and security administration. Through the comprehensive program, students gain the skills necessary to maintain law and order, protect life and property, and conduct administration, planning, and research services.

Students in the Criminal Justice program learn the nature and extent of crime and delinquency, and the cause and explanation of criminal behavior. Rules of evidence, basic investigative techniques and the philosophy of criminal law are additional areas of study.

Dental Assisting

Dental Assistants are educated to perform chair side assisting methods, patient procedures, and related office and laboratory tasks under the direction and supervision of a licensed dentist.

The variety of tasks students learn allow them to be challenged by diverse responsibilities in the delivery of dental care. Students gain knowledge of the basic dental sciences, proficiency in laboratory and clinical skills, and practical experience involving specialized skills.
Medical Administrative Assistant
Medical Administrative Assistants are an essential part to any medical office because they manage the patient records, aid in coding insurance forms, prepare and process insurance claims, and handled the day-to-day functions of a medical office.
The Medical Administrative Assistant program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as medical administrative assistants in a variety of health care settings. Students study various administrative procedures; including patient processing and accessing, processing medical insurance claims, bill collections, and general office procedures utilized in various medical offices.

Medical Assisting

Medical Assistants are trained in both the administrative and clinical procedures of a health care facility, which makes them an important part of any medical office or health care facility.
The Medical Assisting program provide students hands-on training and education in pharmacology, laboratory procedure, medical law, patient care, and the health sciences, which makes them capable of filling a diverse range of duties in a health care facility.

Medical Insurance Billing and Coding

Medical billing and its related occupations are among the fastest growing opportunities in the healthcare industry. The objective of this medical insurance and billing and coding program is to provide the student with the skills to perform a variety of administrative health information functions, including those associated with organizing, analyzing, and technically evaluating health insurance claim forms and coding diseases, surgeries, medical procedures, and other therapies for billing and collection.
Medical billing students will learn the basic concepts and procedures to perform the tasks involved in the health insurance industry. Students gain the knowledge of basic coding definitions and how to apply those codes to medical documentation.

Nursing

Nursing is both an art and science. It is a unique profession that deals with all the dynamics affecting individuals and views the individual as a holistic being (bio-psycho-social-spiritual). Nurses collaborate with other members of the health care team to encourage individuals to participate in their care.
The objective of the nursing programs is to provide students with the appropriate didactic theory and hands-on skills required to find entry-level positions as nurses in health care clinics and facilities.

Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician program provides both technical and practical training which will enable the technician, upon certification, licensure or registration, to function as a competent entry-level pharmacy technician to the licensed pharmacist.
This program provides pharmacy technician students with the basic knowledge of and practice in pharmacy calculations, drug distribution systems, and preparation of sterile dosage forms.

Residential Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning

Graduates of the Residential Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning program are prepared to specialize in residential heating and air conditioning service and repair.
Employment opportunities for this program are entry-level positions such as, Electrical Heat Assembler, Heating & Air Conditioning Technician, Sheet Metal Mechanic and Sheet Metal Fabricator.

Surgical Technologist

Career opportunities for the surgical technologist are projected to increase as the number of surgical procedures for a growing and aging population escalates.
Students learn the essential duties before, during and after surgical procedures. Tasks include the preparation of operating room and patients, organization and maintenance of instruments and equipment, cleaning of operating room, and replenishment of supplies. Additional training includes: anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, professional ethics, medical terminology, and CPR certification. Prior to graduation, students will also get experience in an operating room, working under the supervision of a nurse or operating room technician.
